Beths Crunchy Seeded Crostinis

Ingredients:
| > |
G & S Organic Seeded Bread [preferably 2 - 3 days old]
|
| > |
extra virgin olive oil - to brush
|
| > |
one garlic clove cut in half
|

| Method : |
1. Slice the bread into thin slices [1/2 cm or less].
2. Put a single layer of the sliced bread onto a large baking tray.
3. Brush some good extra virgin olive oil over each slice.
4. And rub a halved garlic clove over the bread slices.
5. Put in a cool oven 100 degrees celcius for 20 mins or so, and then turn over and gently bake for a further 10 - 20 mins until they are just very slightly golden brown.
6. Put onto wire rack to cool, once cool they can be kept in an airtight container for about 2 weeks or frozen and used as and when.
7. They are great with soft cheese, tapenade and a piquant pepper, cream cheese and smoked salmon, avocado and salsa - whatever takes your fancy. |
