Ingredients:

4 apples peeled and cored

350grams sugar per 450grams stewed fruit
|

Juice of 1 lemon

| Method : |
Thinly slice the apples and put in a pan with two or three tablespoons of water. Stew until tender. Add the sugar and lemon juice. Stir over a medium heat until all the sugar has dissolved. Bring to the boil and cook for about 30 minutes or until setting point is reached. Remove the scum. Put into sterilised jars. |
