05/03/2007 New pig arcs arrive!
8 new pig arcs arrive this week in time for the spring weather. After a winter of draughty old pig arcs where the holes are blocked with straw we are sure the piggies will appreciate the shiny new arcs.
Especially the sows with piglets on the way!
We currently have 1 old spot, 4 tamworths, 1 large black, and 3 welsh pigs about to farrow and think this time of the year is one of the best times to have the little ones with the fresh grass just starting to come through and any rouge daffodils will soon been munched down by the greedy ones.
